Mount Rinjani Trekking
Lombok, Summit program 7 days 6 nights
Gili
island tour is our first visiting before made our
trekking to Mount Rinjani, snorkeling on the Gili
island, relax on the beach. On the next day we begin
our trekking to summit of Rinjani, back to Senggigi
hotel to get your spa treatment.
Itinerary:
Day 1 : Airport Hotel ( 2 nights in
Senggigi Hotel ), leisure
Day 2 : Hotel Gili Island Trip Hotel
Day 3 : Hotel - Senaru
Pick up at 09.00 am from your hotel and drop you
directly to Senaru and stay in Senaru for one night.
Day 4 : At 07.00 am, we leave RCTI to begin
our climb, traveling thru local farmer fields and
then tropical rainforest in the cool morning hours.
We arrive at Base Camp III for lunch around 12.00 at
noon. Observe Rinjanis infamous wild monkeys as you
eat your meal but be sure to guard your food from
these mischievous primates! Afterwards, we can
continue on up to the crater rim for the first night
camp. Here we will enjoy our dinner as we watch the
sunset.
Day 5 :
If you wish, you can get up early to watch the
sunrise. After having breakfast and enjoying the
lake view from the rim, we then make the 2,5 hours
decent into the crater to Segara Anak Lake. Once
there, we will enjoy a long break by the lake side
and have lunch. Here you can take a cool dip in the
lake, relax in the natural volcanic hot springs,
explore the area, or just take a nap. At 02.00 pm,
we continue our trip to the sembalun crater rim for
dinner and the second night camp. Be sure to get to
bed early here because we get up early the next day
to catch the sunrise from the summit!
Day 6 :
At 03.00 am, we start the 3 hours climb to the
summit of Mount Rinjani to catch the sunrise at 3726
meters. After taking in the view from the top of
Rinjani, we return to sembalun rim camp for late
breakfast. At 11.00 am, we descend down to the
village of Sembalun, a journey of about 4 5 hours.
Transport will be waiting for you there to transfer
you to Senaru then back to the hotel Senggigi for spa
treatment.
Day 7 : Hotel Aiport/ Gili Island
